Antonio's portrait

biography
It was in the city of Coimbra, in 1977, that António was born. The curiosity for photography emerges when he decides to use the cameras that existed at home, 20 years later.
Progressively Electrical Engineering, predominantly linked to renewable energies, gives way to photography, which happens mainly for his long collaboration with National Geographic.
Always versatile and adaptable, he travels through central Europe, lives in Spain and then in Poland. António crosses the world of photojournalistic reportage with deep passion for Nature photography.
He signed three photo books and produced exhibitions in Portugal, Spain and Poland and also developed an intense formative activity in photography, along the last eight years.
In 2006 António joins 4SEE Photographers and in the following year, is awarded in the contest “Visão Photojournalism”, publishing in various media of Portugal, Japan, Spain, Germany, USA, among many others.
