Bruno Simões Castanheira was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1979. He works and publishes as a freelance photojournalist since 2003. He doesn’t undervalue the big and rich resumés, but never fulfilled himself like this. He instead thinks of himself as one, among many others, who tries, through his own existence, to give a little contribution for the world to be more free, truthful and humanistic. The best way he could find to achieve that, is reproducing the truth with photography. By doing so, he feels he’s showing the real essence and definition of himself.
